3&4 are my headphone outputs, so they should be enabled obviously. I had 1&2 enabled (blue) and 3&4 disabled (red). You want to make sure your headphone outputs are enabled. If you're still getting a 10 ms delay after that, look in Logic prefs under Audio > Devices and make sure your recording delay is set to zero.ĮDIT: Changed picture. Once you've turned off software monitoring in Logic, turn the fader up for the mic input in MixControl. When I'm referring to software monitoring, I mean turning it off using the button at the bottom in the transport bar. Are you solely monitoring using MixControl? I don't really know if you're referring to software monitoring or input monitoring. Note that I have the fader up on the mic input. What does your mixer look like in MixControl? Does it look something like this? I know this computer is a bit dated but I don't think that is the problem as I had no problem with the firebox. Has anyone had a similar issue with this setup? Is there a way I can make Logic compensate for the latency? It is a pain having to zoom in and drag the vocals back on the arrange window with every take. The problem with that is that Logic doesn't compensate and all my vocals are off time. So I figured that maybe this unit just doesn't agree with my computer like the Firebox did and turned off my input monitoring. I've set the I/O buffer size to 128, I've gone through the MixControl software, setting the routing preset to Ultra Low, still it lags like crazy. I've done a lot of research (as least I think I have) but nothing resolves the issue. Recently, my firebox burned out and I bought a Focusrite Saffire Pro 24 DSP. I never got that haas effect while tracking vocals. In fact, it almost seemed like there was none at all. I've been using a Presonus Firebox with Logic Pro for years and never had a latency issue.
